Equal Ground

 

Inspired by the Venetian masks of the 1300s, worn during festivals where class distinctions dissolved, this piece explores identity without hierarchy. Behind the mask, status disappears. Desire, fear, curiosity — all become shared human terrain. It asks whether we reveal more truth in concealment than in exposure.
