From Canvas to Camera: Two Acclaimed Visual Artists Reunite on National Television
Johni Bleu and Frankie Zombie’s collaborative work merges portraiture and abstraction, blending emotive realism with bold, color-driven energy. Their partnership has included murals, large-scale commissions, and televised work, including a featured collaboration on Magnolia Network’s Artfully Designed (2023).
Together, they partnered with Atlanta’s Musa Lair Gallery on an 8 x 8 foot portrait of Jimi Hendrix (2020), now on display at Habit Beverage Lounge in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and created an 8 x 8 foot mural of Lil Wayne for J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina (2022).
